Crosslink Networks SMS Privacy Policy

Text Messaging and Mobile Information

When you enroll in our text-message program, Crosslink Networks LLC and its affiliates may collect your mobile telephone number, name, messaging preferences, consent records, message history, and related technical information. We use this information to provide the text messages you requested, administer the program, respond to you, maintain consent and opt-out records, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law.

No Sale or Sharing of Mobile Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number, text-message consent, or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose mobile information to service providers that help us operate the messaging program, such as telecommunications carriers, messaging platforms, and technology vendors. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us and may not use it for their own marketing purposes.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business. Text-message opt-in data and consent will remain subject to the restrictions stated in this policy.

Consent

By providing your telephone number and affirmatively opting in, you authorize Crosslink Networks to send account-related, and/or informational text messages to that number. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out and Obtaining Help

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message. We may send one final message confirming your opt-out. You may also withdraw consent through any other reasonable method that clearly communicates your request, including contacting us at [email address] or [telephone number].

For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at [support email/telephone number]. Opting out of promotional messages will not prevent us from sending non-marketing messages that are necessary to provide requested services, complete transactions, protect your account, or comply with law, when legally permitted.

The FCC recognizes a consumer’s right to revoke consent through reasonable means—not solely by using a particular keyword—and requires revocation requests to be honored within the applicable period. FCC consumer guidance and FCC consent-revocation order.

Retention and Security

We retain mobile information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, fulfill the purposes described above, maintain legally required consent and opt-out records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect this information. Nevertheless, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Eligibility and Changes

You represent that you are the authorized user of the mobile number provided and agree to notify us if that number changes. We may modify or discontinue the text-message program and update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at [privacy-policy URL] with a revised effective date.

Recommended opt-in form disclosure

Place this language immediately beside the unchecked SMS consent box:

By checking this box, I agree to receive [marketing/promotional] text messages from [Company Name] at the telephone number provided, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. View our [Terms and Conditions] and [Privacy Policy].

Keep the SMS checkbox separate from acceptance of general website terms and preserve records showing the disclosure, date, time, telephone number, and method of consent. This is general drafting language, not legal advice; state privacy laws and the precise nature of the campaign may require additional provisions.
